This is such a pretty and detailed figurine, but I'm not knowledgeable enough on figurines to know who made it. It has crossed handpainted blue swords on the bottom cheap, along with a handpainted signature in gold. My first thought when I pulled it out of storage and saw that swords and the extreme beauty and detail of this lady that she's Meissen. But there is remnant of a gold sticker on the back and I don't think Meissen ever used a sticker. You can just read an es as the last two letters of whatever name was on the sticker. The ruffles on her dress are rough to the touch, but I really don't think they're the real lace that has been coated in porcelain. She's a mystery to me. Except that I remember that I purchased her at a garage sale probably 40 years ago in Central Illinois. My mom was with me that day and we pretended to fight over her. It was sort of a joke of ours. The lady holding the sale came over and very sweetly said..."Maybe we should flip a coin so I don't have to call the police." My mom just about peed her pants laughing. But obviously we wanted to get out of there so I paid for my treasure and didn't ask a thing about her.

Homco also uses a blue sword as a mark, but the label is definitely not Homco. All I know for sure is that she's one of the prettiest figurines I've owned...and I collected them for decades. She's priced a little higher than I normally price one this size, but I have a feeling she's really special.
