Extremely rare and hard to find, this very distressed, shabby copy of Learn to be a Lady is sure to please any book lover... But it is not for the faint of heart!

The book does contain all of its pages, and although they are still bound together, the binding, spine and covers are EXTREMELY loose. As a matter of fact, the front cover and first few end pages are no longer connected to the binding of the book, being held together by only the spine.

The beautiful rough cut pages have a few dings along the outer edge, and worn library stamps are still visible on the top and bottom of the pages. The tanned pages are actually in good condition, free of rips, tears, and markings with minor, if any, soiling.

The cloth covering is soiled, worn, tattered and threadbare in places. Refer to enlarged photos.

A previous owner's book plate with kittens (This Book Belongs To Karen Melton) and an embossed stamp (Library of Karen Melton KRM) as well as library stamps and cards are attached to the front and back end papers. This ex-library book once belonged to the Mid-West Lending Library in Three Rivers, Michigan.
