Antique CHINESE Lacquered Box with Painted cheap River Scene

* Antique Chinese lacquered box, circa late 1800s.
* Feels like wood, saturated in lacquer paint, with finer detailed hand painting on top.

* Beautiful river water scene on top of lid, featuring cranes/stork birds, ducks, a beautifully cheap gnarled tree, and some people in a boat. Really gorgeous, done in silver, gold and copper paint.

* The perfect size and shape to put jewelry in like necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Could also. be used for incense, your "stash," and other keepsake items. Lovely displayed on shelf or table.

* CONDITION: Good, but definitely not perfect. There are some cracks in the box here and there (we'd all have some, if we were 150 years old! ;) A couple small discolorations on the section where the people are painted.
