This hand cheap painted silk scarf is one of my favorites. I love working with silk crepe de chine as it is just so luxurious and has such a wonderful feel.
Each of the color blocks is individually painted and detailed with various resists. The piece is steam set so that the dyes become part of the silk.

Made by me in my Hudson Valley studio, it is a one of a kind piece of wearable art.

Nice weight, can be worn all year round as a fabulous accent to any outfit.
