Set of 2 (two) figurines: Male and Female DACHSHUND dogs.
Very heavy pewter, most likely made in Italy (stamped "PELTRO", which means Pewter in ITALIAN)
Purchased more than forty years ago, from Art Galerie Nando Lausanne, Switzerland (now closed)

each is about 3"long and is about 2" tall
weight 5oz each, approx


INTERESTING to KNOW

Pewter has a pleasant bright colour, does not oxidize, keeping therefore its brightness unchanged cheap year after year, it does not get a green patina like copper and does not turn black like silver.
