They have been created with Japanese Shibori techniques, in which the fabric is manipulated to create pattern when dyed. Stitching, wrapping, folding, binding and compression, are some of the ways in which pattern is achieved. Each bundle is carefully collated to provide you with a variety of techniques and patterns. The photos here are a sampling of pieces from various bundles. You may, or may not, receive these exact patterns, but you will receive a variety of 7 unique pieces. One piece may be solid indigo. Each set contains some squares and some rectangles. Rectangles range in size from 6"x 7" - 5"x 15", squares range from 8"x 7" - 11"x 12". No pack contains just the smaller sizes, while no pack contains just the larger pieces. You will find a balance.
