Poppy cheap Meadow

A small handmade landscape painting of California golden poppies in a mountain meadow. Inspired by the recent super bloom, but not based on a picture or done plein air. Part of a series of small landscapes that make use of the extra rough surface of Shizen watercolor paper to create unique textures and patterns. Done on 100% cotton paper with top lightfastness rated paints from M Graham and Daniel Smith. Any of this tiny paintings would look great filling in that empty space on your wall! :)

Note that the painting extends to the edges of the paper for the most part. Does not include frame/matte. The photos are as close as possible to the original colors, but given the difficulties in reproducing the colors exactly two photos are provided above cheap.
