Jerónimo Fuentes Sterling and cheap Enamel Beetle Brooches

Two sterling silver and enamel beetle brooches from the famous Taxco workshops in Mexico.

These fancy bugs are the work of Jerónimo Fuentes, a member of the Margot de Taxco workshop. The brooch backs are stamped with the conjoined "JF"--Fuentes's hallmark--and the Eagle 3 hallmark.

Each pin is 1.5 inches high; weight for beetle on left is 0.25 ounces; beetle on right is 0.22 ounces.

Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear; pin backs are in good working order.

Brooches have not been polished; buyer is free to cheap remove the vintage patina if desired.
