Antique maroon high profile shaped stick cheap pin box velvet lined fitted jewel case by J. Gtrattan, Mansfield

A beautiful and unusual antique jewellery box. Raised at one end into a peak to accommodate for the ornate end of a stick pin, and lined with blue silk and velvet, this box is the perfect place to store a precious piece, or simply as a beautiful ornament on its own.

This antique box measures approx 11cm by 3.6cm at its base, and stands 3.5cm high at its peak. Signed in the lid "J. Grattan, Jeweller, Grattan"

An authentic genuine antique piece, this jewellery box has signs of age and wear which enhance rather than detract. The button mechanism is in excellent working order.
