VINTAGE HAND SCULPTED MEXICAN FOLK ART POTTERY AZTEC MAYAN FIGURAL FLUTE

This is an amazing piece of art. Possibly Mayan, Incan or another tribal traditional musical instrument. I really don't have a lot of information on the piece as to age or origin. I assume it is a reproduction based on an antique design, but looks to be vintage. Approx: 9" tall x 5" wide.

This is a handmade clay Flute/Piccolo/ Ocarina that has a wonderful sound. Tonal 6 Finger Holes in Front and One Finger Hole and Wind Piece on the Back. It was handcrafted and has great hand painted detailing, a great look and it displays a pride in workmanship. The figure is kneeling on his knees with a king/medicine man type mask head dress on and huge ring earrings. His hands are on his knees with his arms along side.

In FABULOUS condition. I don't see any breaks or repairs, please see last few pictures for details. Hand painted colors are still bright and vibrant. Sadly, no artist signature or country marking, but best bet made in Mexico of course!
