Beautiful red leather covers this journal that closes with a reclaimed hinge and a black leather strap. The leather is a soft, smooth red with natural edges and distressed finish cut to incorporate the natural edges. The hardware is a silver metal hinge riveted to the leather. The bookmark is the same cheap red leather and features a heart charm.

The 10 signatures are sewn by hand to the cover with waxed black linen thread in a longstitch binding that allows the pages to lay flat when open. This old world method creates a strong and lasting binding which is visible on the spine.

The 200 pages (both sides) are cut from 98 lb archival, acid-free paper that is excellent for any media making it the perfect choice for the artist or the writer.The pages are heavy enough to support photos or memorabilia.
